TPS7H2211-SP: FMEA Failure Modes

Hi Mohamed,

We do not test for failure modes on our devices. However, the TPS7H2211-SP is radiation-hardened-assured and has been rigorously tested to meet strict QMLV specifications; you can find the flow here. The TPS7H2211-SP also has TID, SEE, and NDD radiation and reliability reports readily available on the website page. If mitigation techniques are still determined to be necessary, current sensing and other upstream protection methods would be appropriate.

can you give me a link for the reliability report ?  I might find some information there that are related to any short between Vout & GND.

these are all radiation test reports, I thought you have something else only for reliability of the IC. considering this fail case between output and ground for example. it is crucial for us because we plan to use the IC for nominal and redundant power that are ORed with each other, meaning if the nominal side fails ( short vout to gnd ) the red side will also fail.

As stated before, we do not do testing on failure modes and do not have FMEA information. We do not have any reports outside of the reports provided on ti.com.
