I'm using BQ Studio Beta(1.3.128) with the BQ40Z80EVM-020 evaluation module. In other TI tutorials, there are dialog boxes that appear and show relevant data when you hover over register bits. I've never seen that in my software, and have even moved to the Stable release to try and fix it and still cant find it. If I setup BQStudio for a different device like the BQ76952, I can get these pop ups to show.
Is there something I am missing? Being able to quickly see and access data from the TRM would be incredibly useful, since those reference documents are 300+ pages long. The BQ40Z80 also generates an error when you select the target board where BQ says "The detected device is not compatible with this application!" Another thread says this can be ignored, but I'm curious if it's related.
How can I turn on the datasheet pop ups?
