TPS65224-Q1: TPS6522430RAHRQ1 PMIC Pre-Programmed for AM62P?

Part Number: TPS65224-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM62P

Tool/software:

Hello,

I'm designing a custom board with the AM62P processor and using the TPS6522430RAHRQ1 PMIC for power management. I've read the datasheets and documentation, but I need some clarification.

My main question is whether the TPS6522430RAHRQ1 is a pre-programmed PMIC with the correct power sequencing for the AM62P, or if it requires additional configuration (e.g., through I2C) to match the AM62P's power-up and power-down sequences.

Best Regards,

Arun Pravin

  • Hi Arun,

the TPS6522430 is a pre-programmed device which supports the AM62P power sequencing as is. You don't have to do any modifications through I2C. Only configuration needed from power point of view is selecting the use-case using external resistors. For this please see the user's guide secure folder.

    regards,
