BQ25710EVM-017: How to configure for Autonomous Charge with BQ40z50EVM

It looks to me the BCAST=0 as shown in red. It needs to be green.

In BQStudio red actually refers to high or 1, while green refers to low or 0. See the below screenshot.

It is quite easy to check whether this is related to the charger.

• Isolate BQ25710EVM SDA/SCLK, use EV2400 to send ICHG and VCHG. I think the charger should work fine. 

Another way is to monitor the SDA/SCL bus to see if any communication signal broadcasting from the gauge to the charger. 

I think you will have more flexibility if equipped with a MCU.

I've isolated the BQ25710EVM and have it open in BQStudio. Could you elaborate on how to send those commands?

I did read this user guide before posting this question. I see no reference to "ICHG and VCHG" as you mentioned above. Is this perhaps what you were referencing?

The charge current register 0x14 is referred as ICHG register. The charge voltage register 0x15 is referred as VCHG register.
