Not sure how the value ended up as 1.87k but it should be 2.00k if selected by calculations only. There is also a typo in the equation, instead of R1/(R1+R2) it should be R2/(R1+R2). This calculated value also uses the maximum gea value of 440µA/V.

My best guess is the person who tested the EVM tweaked the resistor value to get as close as possible to the targeted 10kHz bandwidth and did not follow only the equations.
