I have designed in the bq27530-G1 into my product and need to update the battery capacity, taper, etc parameters but everytime i try to program it i get an error. See attached. Im using a windows 7 64 bit machine with an EV2300 dongle attached. I start up bqconfig and it recognizes my chip and i can read in the chips default values. After going through the parameter value setting steps I try to program and it gives me this error writing data pop up. I peaked around with teh bq Evaluation software and checked that my device was unsealed and it appears to be.
As a sidenote, its incredibly frustrating trying to use this part (and others, ive used 2 other bq chips but unfortunately they didnt fit this application) as the datasheet doesn't discuss in detail the registers and their values/meanings and trying to figure out how which tool and how to program this device is like dove hunting at night.
Some insight would be appreciated.
