The Dim input control voltages at Vin at 5V are listed as:
Shutdown Threshold Voltage -- 0.4V
Enable Threshold Voltage -- 1.8V
If Vin is not at 5V, do these values change?
Also, what is the function of the 100k resistor attached to the DIM pin.
The datasheet list IDIM as 100 nA typ, Is this based on using the 100k resistor and does it change with Vin?
The main purpose of the 100k resistor, which is placed from DIM pin to the Vin, is to pull up the DIM input. It is not recommended to leave DIM input float.
Ok I get that, but I still need this questions answered.
