TPS65217 powerpad layout

I'm making a Am335x design with the TPS65217C. In the datasheet there is no drawing of the thermal pad. It says "Size and shape shown on separate sheet", but there is no separate drawing of it in the datasheet. SLVSB64G.

There are no following pages in the datasheet. You are right this information usually is on the next page in the datasheet, but this is missing from this datasheet. I have found several products that uses this "RSL" package, but the thermal pad layout is different. Some of the products have an offset thermal pad.

The information You point to is the general package drawings, and this also points to the specific datasheet to see a drawing of the thermal pad layout.

What version of the data sheet are you working with? The most up to date one can be found on the product folder here: www.ti.com/.../tps65217;tisearch=Search-EN-Everything The page that you are talking about on the data sheet is followed by two pages with the information you are looking for.

Yes this is the datasheet I use. Package outline drawing on page 86, and "IMPORTANT NOTICE" on page 87 which is the last page. There are no dimensional drawing of the thermal pad anywhere in the datasheet.

Yes this is the information that is missing in the datasheet. Does this thermal pad layout apply to TPS65217?

It was on the data sheet i got off the product folder, this is very strange that you cannot see these pages.

Yes, the infomation is on that data sheet. And the SLUA271 pdf i shared also has the same information that applies to the TPS65217
