Hi all,

Can everyone help me to review my design ?

I used Webench Designer Tool to make my design in attached file.

The first power is 0V9_VDD. It is used for CPU.

The second power is 1V5_VDD. It is used for DDR3 on-board.

I just reviewed both schematics and both look okay. but one thing, you may need to re-calculate the Rtrip value based on your OCP. for example for tps53355 if you set OCP=35A, then Rtrip should be ~150kohm.

Hi Mr Benjamin1,

I have used equation 2 on page 17 of datasheet TPS53355 to calculate the OCP current.

I have some of parameters below:

Vtrip = Rtrip*Itrip with Itrip = 10uA.

Rds(on) = 2mOhm.

Vin = 12V. Vout = 0.95

L = 215nH. Fsw = 500khz

If I chose Iocp = 35A, then Rtrip should be 198kOhm.

But you have chosen 150kohm.

Can you explain about this different ?

sorry, my design tool default wrong Rds(on) which is 1.5mohm that is why I got 150k. if Rds_on =2mohm, Rtrip~198kohm.
