Hi,

 I would like to know if you have a more detailed description of current synthesizer circuit and how it works.

The information in the datasheet is not clear and also how Rsyn formula is generated.

    The UCC28070 senses the MOSFET switch current and predicts the diode current based on the MOSFET current and the switch waveform.

    In this way the UCC28070 replicates the full inductor current for average current mode control.

    This is a TI innovation and its big advantage is that it eliminates the need for a third and fourth current transformer.

    It is a competitive advantage and is not published.
