Hey there,

Im using the TPS61030 Boost converter to make 5.2 Volts out of LIpo Battery.

I layoutet everything and soldered the chip to the PCB. The problem is that the output voltage is the same as the input voltage.

If there is no input voltage the chip is high impedant from input to output.

any suggestions? can I send you the eagle files if I connected everything right?

i don't have eagle files. Could you please share you schematic and layout image and i can help to check.
to debug the circuit, please double check if the IC and its external components are soldered well.

by the way, may i know how do you search this device and why select it?

thanks for your answer.
I selected the device because I need to boost the voltage of a Lipo Battery to 5 Volt and I need to draw between 2A and §A.

the schematic is good. but i would suggest you terminate the LBI pin.
the layout is not good, the C6 is far away from the IC. the IC could damage in high output current condition. refer to the EVM "www.ti.com/.../slvu080a.pdf" for PCB layout.

about the observation in current board, please
1. make sure all the component and the IC is soldered well
2. No load add to the output of the TPS61030 before it finish startup
3. the EN voltage should be higher than 0.8*VBAT
