Yes i changed R15 to 130K and that presented a battery voltage at VFB lower than VLOWV which enabled charging.
Joe, i was able to figure out after sending my last post that i needed to configure the resistor divider on ISET to allow for 10A charge current.
I have another question:
I am trying to desing a battery charger than can supply ~20A charge current to a LiPo battery. I was thinking about putting these to chargers in parallel to achieve my 18 - 20A charge current requirement. This parallel configuration will only be used in CC mode. After CC mode, an MCU would disable one charger and allow the other one to carry the CV mode.
- What are the potential issues with such an architecture ?
- Can the bq24600 allow this architecture?
Thanks
