Resister of TLC59108

We use 5LEDs and  place the resistors in series with the LEDs.

  Vf of LED is 2.8~3.1V.

Resistors are used to suppress heat generation.

Question 1.

Please tell us the resistance value.

Current is 18~20mA

Question 2.

Please tell us the variation of current at IC spec.

Question 3.

Maximum current of this IC is 120mA.

If derating of this IC is 80%, Can we use the above methods?

    Hi Takahiro-San,

    Please refer the below comments.

    Q1: May I know the LED supply, normally it makes sure ILED * R + VLED< LED supply.

    Q2: please refer the datasheet page 6.

    Q3: This is the constant current device. Could you explain the derating for the detail?
