Hi,

Currently we are using the BQStudio Tool to calibrate the voltage, current, and various offset. But we will be

automating the entire process. Do you happen to have any documentation on how the calibration work?

Hi Andy,

Yes we have mutliple documentation available. You will have to write your own code to automate the calibration for mass production or you can use our tool, bqhiproduction.

Hi Onyx,

Thanks for the document and it is very helpful. As for the document, slua640, it is for different devices than the BQ34Z100. Are you sure that the calibration process is similar?
For example, the voltage calibration is different for the BQ34Z100 since it uses a voltage divider therefore as stated in the document, vOffset is not applicable to the bq34.
Also for Current calibration, the equations to calculate CC Gain and CC delta, are they the same for that of the BQ34?

Hi Andy,

You're absolutely correct - vOffset in slua640 does not apply to the bq34z100-G1. Please use the steps listed in slua665.
