EN pin of TPS56C215

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS56C215

I have questions about TPS56C215.

Can you confirm the attached document?

1.In the datasheet p.18, Are Ip1 and Ip2 pull-up from Vin?

2.Is it possible to input 3.3 V of CMOS to EN pin without using dividing resistance between VIN to EN?

3.And is it better to change the level by OpenDrain?

Best regards,

  • 1. These two are constant current source internally. This information is enough for design. Sorry, we can't provide the information for the internal side.
    2. If your CMOS has the capacity of ensuring EN=3.3V , it is OK.
    3. You use another pullup resistor, causing more loss.
