Hi,
my application is : I am developing the smart battery pack. the pack is having only 2 out pins which are battery positive and negetive. when the pack is in vehicle it has to support the drive motor. and the same if its in charging station it has to charge.
so i developed a bi directional high side n channel mosfet switch and controlling the same from my micro controller. here there is no pwm at gate. means there is no need of voltage or current control. i am using the mosfet bi directional section just like a relay.
problem is : While discharging (Drive motor) i am not facing any problem. i am controlling the gate.
while charging my mosfets(one of the U5,U6,U7) got damaged (All gate drain and source pins showing short) . happened two times.
my charger is giving max 60v only. my mosfet rating is 100V,180A each. observed with Oscilloscope there is no spikes coming from charger also.
plz verify my circuit and suggest me the solution.
