Is it dangerous to connect AGND to PGND? Will it damage the part?

    Hi Tim,

    It is recommended to keep AGND and PGND separate from one another. This way the analogy circuitry ground is isolated and kept "quieter" than the noisy power plane. Internally, the AGND and PGND are connected through a single point.
