BQ25890: bq25890 - IBAT(LOAD)(Battery discharge load current)

I use a bq25890 in my project. When the output current is above 1.5A , charger cut the current and reset. Datasheet claim that the discharge current is 6A.

So why output current dont touch 6A?

Can you provide detailed description of your test setup and the observation "charger cut the current and reset"? Are you using a real battery or a battery simulator? Is an adaptor plugged in or not during the test?

I'm using a real battery. Adaptor is not plogged. When adaptor is plogged charger dosnt reset.

What is the voltage measured at the charger's BAT and GND pins when this occurs? If your connection from the battery to the BAT pin is too resistance, the voltage may droop below the charger's BAT UVLO threshold.
