BQ25601: BQ25601 battery discharge current is very less

Hi,

BQ25601 battery discharge current what we need is 3A. This is not achievable with the design. Please suggest on this.

    Hi, in battery only mode, BQ25601 can supply even higher than 3A current. Can you share more details about your schematic and design? Why did you say 3A is not achievable? Can you describe our problem in greater details?

    Hi, prashob n pavanan!

    The battery discharge current of BQ25601 is up to 4.5A. Please refer to the 24th page of BQ25601's datasheet.

    Hi, bq25601 can support discharge current up to 6A, which is higher than 3A. Need more details about your test conditions and description why 3A cannot be achieved in you case. Thanks.
