I would like to use several TPSM84624 in parallel to increase (multiply) the current output. I'm willing to use any number of passives and/or feed-back circuits, etc... To make this happen...
I'm looking to create a 1 ~ 8 Volts variable supply at 40 Amps. Any ideas? FYI, the output voltage will vary, and will drive a load which is almost entirely resistive.
I could try the classic diode ORing, or better yet, use a MOSFET configured to operate like an active diode (similar to synchronous rectification circuit).
I will also consider placing other TI SMPS circuits in parallel if someone can recommend a good target for this.
I would like to understand your application a liitle better. Can you contact me directly at jarrigo@ti.com?
The LMZ31710 may be able to work in your application. See appnote SNVA749 for operating at higher output voltage. Depending on VIN, a single switching frequency may not work for all VOUT.
