I have the BQ24450 in my new design and am very concerned that the part will not be available. (According to the NRND warning seen in Mouser) The product I am making has to be tested by a certification company at a cost of $30K. The life of this product could be 10 years or more so I am worried the part might be available throughout the life of the product. Can you estimate with some certainty or provide me with some written statement that the part will be available for a defined amount of time?.
If you can not provide this information then I feel the risk is to high and I will need to change my design using the bq24650.
