We are seeing this problem on a temperature controller we designed for off-road equipment. Could you please tell me more about the resolution to this issue? It appears only in one product that drives 2 power-fets through a microprocessor. We have not seen it in the single power-fet model. Both versions use the same board layouts. We do not populate the second power-fet on the single motor version. At first we thought it was a temperature problem. Now we are not so sure as it has happened at lower than expected temperatures. Once the lm5166 trips out It will not recover without a power cycle. The supply was designed in pwm mode with your spreadsheet tool.
