Could you let us know what function did D5, D6 and Q3 work?

Does it control power sequence that EN' need to pull low after VDD ready?

Thanks!

  • Hi Julian,

D5, Q3, and D6 determine whether the part will be running in shutdown or run mode. If the input voltage is high enough, the collector of Q3 will be pulled low, pulling down pin 3. If the input voltage is too low, Q3 will not turn on, and the voltage seen at pin 3 will be pulled up to the 6.2V from D6, putting the part is shutdown mode.

    Best,
    Richard
