Hi there,
We use BQ78Z100 in a 2-cell battery pack. But the part lead time is very long which can not meet our build schedule.
We are seeking an alternative by using BQ28z610 as a replacement.
Can the BQ28610 be a drop-in replacement for our application below?
Single cell: 3.8V nominal and 2980mAh
Cell configuration: 2 series LI-ion cell (2S1P)
Norminal voltage (2S1p): 7.6V
Protection: same as BQ78z100
Communication: I2C 400KHz
Authentication Required:: SHA-1
Production software: Battery Management Studio
