Team,

Would you advise that below my customer's inquiry?

I want to set the capacitance of the output capacitor of TPS54429 to 100 μF.

Is it possible if special measures are taken?
(We would like to set C8 + C9 = 100uF 1 piece.)

Even the recommendation range is from 22 to 68uF.

Hi Kiyoshi,
Can you share the datasheet of the 100uF cap? As you know, the cap will have derating when voltage applied to it, and it is the derated capcitance that matters.
If you use a bigger output cap than recomendation, it is possible to have lower phase margin. The SW jitter will be bigger.

Hi Kiyoshi,
I double checked on EVM, and it's fine to use 47uF*2 as output cap.
