BQ24610: BQ24610

Part Number: BQ24610

Hello, I am using BQ24610. BQ24610 recharging current settings are too low, down 35 MV to 65 MV to re-open the charging mode.

  • Hello,

What is your question about this?

  • When we test, your chip will consume 20UA when it is full of sleep mode. Then it will decrease about 10mV in an hour and 60mV in six hours. Then it will not charge twice a day. Is it too frequent to charge, or do I understand the wrong condition of recharging the chip and how the setting of recharging the chip is set?
  • Hello,

For recharging, the VFB voltage needs to fall 50mV before recharging will occur. The actual drop on the battery will be based on the VFB resistor divider network you have selected for your maximum regulation battery voltage. This means the recharge voltage drop from the battery voltage will be 50mV * (R2 + R1)/R1, where R2 is the top feedback resistor and R1 is the bottom feedback resistor. If VFB falls by 60mV in 6 hours, you will trigger the recharge condition.

The adapter must also be present during this entire during for recharge to take place.
