We cannot get the USB2ANY pod to access the TPS65400 EVM module.
After many attempts of trying to backdate the firmware to (1.19.0.0), still not working.
We visited these forums and have tried about everything possible, even renaming the (1.19.0.0) to 2.8.2.0.txt file used for the update firmware.
Our USB2ANY Explorer does not let us select the file to load for firmware.
The PI commander did work once, in the very beginning. But USB2ANY was ran and dictated we upgrade the firmware to 2.8.2.0.
Since then, we cannot get the pod to communicate to the TPS65400 EVM. We would greatly appreciate any help.
Hi, Sir
You have to downgrade the firmware to 1.19.0.0 version or lower version.
Put the attached Firmware file to directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\USB2ANY Explorer\Bin, and unzip it.
After that, use the Firmware loader to downgrade firmware version.
After a few crashed attempts, then after pressing in the button on the USB2ANY pod and plugging it in, then launching the loader app.
We renamed the USB2ANY_1_19_0_0.txt to the USB2ANY_2_8_2_0.txt. from within the C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\USB2ANY Explorer\Bin.
So now both files reside in this directory. Both have the same contents as 1_19_0_0.
We launched it again and manually typed "USB2ANY_1_19_0_0.txt" to manually load the older update.
Firmware version looks odd here ?
Re-launching app, again.
This box says "automatically" update as needed. Does this bypass the manual entry we did for "USB2ANY_1_19_0_0.txt" ?
When we are successful loading something in, it reads v2.8.2.0 always.
We cannot seem to get back to the older firmware "USB2ANY_1_19_0_0.txt"
We do see the USB2ANY pod interface, but still cannot access the TPS65400EVM with PI-Commander.
