Hi,

I am working with LM3279 EVM and am observing that the signal at SDATA line is getting attenuated to 1.15V whereas the generated voltage is 1.8V. So when we monitored the current consumption, it is 0mA in SCLK line (assuming the current might be in uA) & it is 50mA in SDATA line. Not sure if the SDATA pin is damaged or if there is any possibility to recover from this behavior.

Any inputs/comments on this behavior will be helpful.

    Mano,

    It sounds like the device has been over stressed in someway and the pin is damaged. The DS states the Sdata line should opearate in the microamp range. I doubt that it can be recovered with that magnitude of current going into the device.
