Do you have any guideline on how to choose this component?

Hi Kevin,
The c10 is feedforward cap, it is used for loop compensation. TPS56C215 use internal loop compensation, in order to have the optimal loop at different Vout, switching frequency, some times the feedforward cap is recommended. For the best practice to design this cap, you need to measure the loop response, then design it accordingly. But this work cost some time, in order to help customer design it quickly, we have recommend value. This is listed in Table 5 in datasheet.

For the calculation tool, now we rely on Webench .
I reviewed your schematic, generally it seems fine. Only the soft start, you want to set it 0.82ms, however, the minimum softstart time is 1ms. Please refer to this word in datasheet:
