HI 

I am using BQ40Z50-R1 fuel gauge on my battery pack . Everything was working good then suddenly the Bqstudio stopped detecting the fuel gauge .The auto detect shows none and then i try to manually select the gauge and still doesnt work . I tried using the latest software / Updating the firmware changing cables but nothing seems to work . I know the EVM of  bq40z50 has a wake up button is there something similar I need to use to wake up the gauge ? Kindly let me know .

    No, you don't need a wake button for your application. The pack will wake up if it sees a voltage higher than the charger threshold at the pack pin. It is possible that your pack might also have shutdown enabled. If that is so, apply a voltage on the pack pin and it will wake the gauge up.
