UCD90120A: trying to configure a brand new

Part Number: UCD90120A

hello,

I just replaced the UCD90120A in my ac701 rev2.0 and I tried to configure them but the tools doesn't seems to recognize them in the right address, i'm adding a screen shot of both "device gui" and  "Firmware & Configuration Download Tool"

As you can see, when I tried to program the software didn't recognize the chip but when I pressed scan it appears. same thing happens with the device gui:

any help will be welcome

  • Hello

The address is at 126d instead of 101d. Could you please check whether PMBus_Addr pin are either open or ground?

    Regards

    Yihe

  • i checked the pins in both component and found that the chips were not solder well.

after re-soldering them i managed to connect and i think even to configure them successfully, this is the gui output i got:

  • sorry for not posting, i didn't manage to work yet, but i think the problem is with soldering of the chip.

this eval board is not a top priority for me right now, but as soon as i can i will try it again.

thank you very much for the help, as far as i concern this problem is resolved.
