LM74610-Q1: LM74610-Q1

Part Number: LM74610-Q1

Automotive / ASILB application // -40°C < temp range [ambient] < +80°C

LM74610-Q1 frequency variation caused by temperature

In the datasheet it's stated, : "If the capacitor varies 20% the periods and the frequency will also vary by 20%".

In our application, the frequency differs much, much more (+75% between 25°C to 90°C) than the capacitor is specified to (GCM / 1µF / X7S).

  • What other reasons could cause this strong behavior?

In the next sample, we will change the cap to a C0G/NP0 type, but I escpect that the strong temp-dependency will be a little bit better but not disappear.

Best regards, Thomas
