Dear all,
I use the TPS65916EVM to connect to the TPS659162RZGR and want to control the LDO output voltage through I2C, but it will pop up the window as shown.
I connect the TPS65916EVM J7 and J12 directly to my TPS659162 I2C_SDA and I2C_SCL.
How can I solve this problem? I can control the TPS659162 output voltage in other boards through the TPS65916EVM
thanks,
Dan.
Dan,
You should be able to control the TPS659162 on another board. You would need SDA, SCL, and GND connections between both boards. Please add a ground connection. Also, can you scope the SDA and SCL lines to see what is being sent to the device.
Thanks,
Nastasha
Dear Nastasha,
A new problem has occurred, as shown in the picture.
I looked at the EVM information. I think that J26 has no other effect than letting GPIO5 have voltage, and GPIO5 in my other board TPS659162 already uses a pull-up resistor with a voltage.
I have measured the voltage on both the GPIO5 and RESET_OUT on the TPS659162 board.
Thanks,
Dan
Dan,
Can you please take scope shots of VCCA, VRTC, I2C_SCL, and I2C_SDA?
Thanks,
Nastasha
Dan,
Can you verify that J7 and J10 have jumpers populated?
Also, are you taking measuring I2C_SDA from either TP7 or J12 (pin 2)?
And are you taking I2C_SCL from either TP6 or J9 (pin2)?
Thanks,
Nastasha
