TIDU 248, Pulse transformer used to couple drive with high and low side mosfets. input signal, output of IC 27324 is used as sum of the two signals A+B, being given to high side and low side mosfets. This scheme seems erroneous, as it is likely to shift the turn on level of high side mosfet. Dead bands of each side shall be lost. high side shall be turned on turnoff time of low side mosfet.

the scheme may kindly be explained.

I'm not quite sure I follow your question about the UCC27234 summing the A+B signals.

Just for referernce the datasheet of the Vitec gate drive transformer has been posted to TI here(it is no longer downloadable from Vitec's web site)

The OUTA/OUTB on U1(for example) is ePWM1A and its complement ePWM1B from the C2000 MCU.

These are being fed into opposite ends of the primary side of the transformer/gate drive, such that during the deadband time Q1 would turn off and Q4 would remain off until the deadband is complete. Once the deadband is timed out ePWM1B would switch on and Q4 would then turn on as expected.
