Hi Sir

May BQ24171 can use in charger 4V Battery?

if yes, we currently battery pack is use bq28z610.((gauge set 4V to be battery full)

But BQ24171 will going to Blinking at 0.5 Hz when Battery is 4V.

Is something we need to notice?

Hi Chen,

Yes, the BQ24171 can be configured to charge 4V battery. Blinking STAT can one of several faults:

Charge suspend, Input overvoltage, Battery overvoltage, timer fault , battery absent.

Can you send your schematic? Also, can you send a scope plot of PVCC, VBAT, VFB and STAT as the battery is charging to 4V, showing when STAT starts blinking?
