TPS92692-Q1: Pout(max) Buck-Boost

Part Number: TPS92692-Q1

Hello,

The Pout(max) in the  table 5 of Buck Boost design parameters is 12.6W.
However, the Vout is 39.6V(max) and ILED is 1500mA(max). So the Pout (max) would be 59.4W
I think that the calculation of Pout is not same with 12.6W if we use maximum value of Vout and ILED.
Is the calculated value of 12.6W correct?

  • Hi Josnei,

The design is for maximum output power of 12.6W only.  That this means is that if you have Vout at 39.4V then the maximum current you can have out is 12.6W/39.4V = 320mA.  Iout curent or Vout voltage combination has to be equal to or less than the specified 12.6W.

    Thanks Tuan
