LM73605EVM-5V-2MHZ: Suggested Inductor value for 1.8V output

Hello Sir/Madam,

Can you please suggest me the output capacitor and inductor value for 12 to 1.8V output with switching frequency of 2.2Mhz?

Hi Saikumar,

I would not recommend running this device at 2.2MHz. The first is due to minimum on time will be violated with the conversion from 12VIN to 1.8V output.

Thanks for the quick response. What would be the suggested frequency value?

I'm planning to use this regulator for 2 different output values: 12 to 3.3V and 12 to 1.8V.

Hi,

I would suggest a frequency value of 400kHz just to increase efficiency and avoid the minimum on time condition.

You can use webench to see the design components
