TINA/Spice/LMG3410R070: Operation in third quadrant

The Vsd is independent of Vgs in third quadrant operation of LMG3410R070 in its pspice model. The Vsd drop is always 7.5V in the pspice model. But in SNOAA36 it is written that this device have gate dependency in third quadrant. Can anyone please help in this context.

Yes, it should change between 5V to 7.8V from 0.1A to 10A. Does it always output 7.5V irrespective of ISD current?

The variance between 5V to 7.8 V for 0.1 A to 10 A is when IN=0V as mentioned in datasheet. But the same is happening for IN=5V, which should not have been the case. Yes the 7.5V drop is irrespective of ISD current at IN=5V. At IN=5V there should not have been any offset voltage drop (VSD) as mentioned in SNOAA36. But in the model there is a constant offset voltage drop (VSD) of 7.5V at IN=5V. Please see to the matter.

It turns out that the model has been updated on July 12. You can download the new model from ti.com. Please let us know if you still have difficulties with the model.

Thanks. I checked the revised PSPICE model and its working fine. The vsd voltage drop irrespective of IN voltage is removed. It is operating as expected in third quadrant.
