Hi Onyx Ahiakwo ,
You answered me some time ago to use default chem id for my battery:

Reading default CHEM_ID SUB_COMMAND (0x0006) with Command Control (0x01) gives me 2081 Panasonic NCA653864SA (2400mAh) NiCoMn/carbon
My battery (ER26500) is of type LiSoCI2.
Should I really keep default chemical ID?
Which chemical id should I use for my battery?
Thanks,
Hi Bitou,
Can you send a screen shot of the command you sent using bqstudio to determine the chem id on the device? 2081 doesn't seem like the default chem id.
However, you should be able to select any LiSoCl2 and use that given that the gauge determines EOS by checking the rate of change of the resistance table.
thanks
Onyx
