TPS65720: Getting temperature from TS pin

Part Number: TPS65720

Hi!

We are using a TPS657201 pmic in a project and we want to reduce te charge current when the battery temperature is below 10 degrees Celsius.

From what I can gather from the datasheet you can measure the TS_OUT and get a voltage in the range from 0 to 1.4V which in turn represents the temperature span from -20 to 60 degrees Celsius.

Is this scale linear or how does the transformation from voltage to temperature work?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Björn
