Hi there,
Our customer want to check with flowing question:
1. Is it necessary to increase the current limiting resistor for the TPS709 power supply VDD (VIN)?
2. When the TPS709 is in the shutdown state (Ven < 0.4V), or the output is short-circuited. Does the power consumption still remain 150nA (typical)?
Hi Eason,
1. No. it is not necessary to add current limiting resistor at Vin pin.
2. Yes. When in shutdown state (Ven < 0.4V), the current consumption is still 150nA(typical) even when the output is short circuited.
Regards,
Chito
