TPS56921: 9A or higher load switching regulator with near instantaneous load step response

we have this Micro Semi 5A part LX7178-01CSP-TR in our design that has Constant Frequency Hysteretic Control with extremely fast or near-instantaneous load/line step response (time scale is given in 100s of nS for the load step response)

we are looking to substitute it with a 9A output load regulator with 12V input and 1.65V output and I2C control of the output voltage with same kind of fast step response.

we looked at the TPS56921 but the step response of that is slow. we need to settle to the nominal output voltage value withing a few micro second for a 0-9A load step.

Could you pleased recommend a suitable part

Is the I2C must?

My product line have TPS56C215 and TPS56C230 device which can support up to 12A output current, but without I2C control.

These 2 devices use DCAP3 architecture which has very fast load response, i think they can meet your requeirement.

Yes I2C output voltage control is a must. Do you anything with that and near instantaneous load step response?

There is no such devices with I2C in my product line.

when you say "my product line" does that mean that there are no such devices available at TI ?

The part that you attached has ACOT2 (not the ACOT3) architecture as you mentioned in your e-mail previously that ACOT3 has the fastest step response. I see that the load step response is around 50uS for a 25% to 75% of load current. Is there a faster part available?
