Hi expert,

We use 2 TPS23880 for PSE board of 8port bt standard, and STM32F051C8T6 for MCU, please help check the schematic diagram of relevant parts. Please refer to the attachment for the schematic.

  • Hi AndongSun!

Thanks for sharing your schematic! I took a look at it and had a few things that I wanted to mention:

In order to be IEEE802.3bt compliant, make sure that your PSE_OUT connections to the RJ45 ports match this image:

Make sure that you read the RESET pin note in Section 9.2.1. The RESET pin must be held low until both VPWR and VDD are above their UVLO thresholds.

I noticed that your second PSE pulls up pin A4 to 3V3. We advise to make sure that the 3V3 signal you are pulling up to is the same as the 3V3 signal you are using for your VDD.

Lastly, take a look at our TPS23881 device at this link --> www.ti.com/product/tps23881

The TPS23881 has a reduced Rsense for power savings, is capable of operating without host control, and offers capacitance measurement for legacy detection!

Thank you so much for reaching out to us today!
