Hi all,

I am working a project which i am trying to do is charge a PCB mini USB type -A port with mobile charger cable from mobile.From my analysis i understand that the pins in USB and OTG are slight different the only difference is the ID/Sensor pin is not connected in USB and it is connected in OTG.So i don't want to change the connectivity of the USB and OTG,the only thing i need to change is need an suggest to workout on PCB.

Hi, Sorry for late reply.

I want to power PCB board with mobile charger cable from mobile.

Note: Right now i am powering PCB board with the help of OTG cable from mobile.I need to avoid using OTG cable.

Hope you understand this.

Hello Ashok,

Non of our BC1.2 port controllers will help with this application. A device like the BQ24392 may be able to help with your application, but I am not 100% sure as I do not cover this product. Recommend closing this thread and posting a new one tagging the BQ24392. You will then be directed to an expert that covers this specific product, and can answer your question in more detail.
