Hello guys.
One of my customers is evaluating TPS61165 with TI EVM and high brightness LED prepared by them.
The LED forward voltage is 5.8V at 100mA. Their input voltage to TPS61165 is 5.0V.
Their problem is that the LED lights weakly even if CTRL pin is low level. Then they confirmed TPS61165 was not switching. So they think the lighting is caused by the small current flowing through the following path.
5V input -> Inductor -> LED -> Sense resistor -> GND.
They want to get any idea from TI to cut off the LED current to turn the LED off completely.
Could you please give me your advice?
Best regards,
Kazuya.
