Product parameters:
Input Voltage: Battery Voltage 3-4.2V
Output voltage and current: 6V 1A
Fault phenomena:
In the process of testing the product, the output of the product is normal, but the IC is very hot. After a few seconds,Short Circuit Between 4th "SW" and 8th"BOOT" Foot Discovered by Power-off Measuring IC TPS61088.
check the 0.1uF cap between pin4 and pin8.----Capacitance is normal
Working frequency: 1.2MHZ

Dear Sir,
This phenomenon happened on all of the boards, or only one of them? Could you please try to remove the IC from the board?
Dear Sir,
Thanks for the update. Its clear.
I need to check the BOM, pcb layout and the sch to check the root cause. Let's discuss by email. I'll send a private message to you.
