TPS61165: The way to turn off LED cmpletely

In the above thread, I learned to use a Shottky diode to turn off the LED completely. My understanding is that the total VF increases when shottkey dioe is put in forword direction of LED current and I can stop the weak current when the total VF is bigger than VIN. Is it right? Or does it say other usage of shottkey diode?

    Hi Sir,

         Yes, since in your application, your output voltage is near the supply voltage, so there may be some leakage current through the output side, so I have suggest to add another diode to increase the output voltage. Your understand is right.
