TPS1H100-Q1: Current Limit issue: Overcurrent protection should be similar to Ilim (+-20%) but OCP triggers over +-50%

Hi,

My customer is going to use TPS1H00-Q1 on a new project.

They need to better understand the OCP.

It seems to them that it triggers at 50% more than the nominal, to understand if it is their problem or the product is done like this.

Any comments regarding the subject?

    Hello,

    Can you explain their setup?

    Below shows the waveform of what happens during a short circuit. There will be some overshoot but when the current limit is engaged it should be within tolerance of the datasheet.
