Dear team,

Customer calculate the Tj with Ta=86 as below picture shows, it seems that the IC has reached the temperature protection limitation. Could you kindly help me correct?

Hi Sammi,

the Rθja parameter can be used to compare devices from different vendors to see, if there is a difference in their thermal behavior, but it can not be used for this kind of calculation. Therefore, the calculated value is not correct.
