Hi all, the o/p pin is SW not SS however fir clarity I again type the same

I am working with asynchronous regulator like LMR14020 which has a freewheeling diode at the SW pin which is the o/p  voltage pin. If the freewheeling diode gets damaged which is used to discharge the inductor when the High Side Mosfet is OFF , then how the o/p will behave
